El Granero Rojo
This piece started as a photo snapped from the car of a western Oregon farm. I used a grow filter to bring the barn twice as close as it was, then added the gloomy sky and some various filters blended. Then I tinted the whole picture a few times to get the overall color right for this piece.
I created the river using motion blurs in two directions, then tinting with some mixtures of blue, red and yellow... I used multiple brushes and shades of brown, black, red, green and yellow to create the foliage along the river and burned parts of it to add shadow and more depth. I over layed a scratchy filter over the top to make it look old and worn, then the text overlay with a difference blend.
